Probably rented 6 times over past 3 years, but just turned a rental back in (The BlkTux) and they wouldn't negotiate  a deal to just purchase, rather turn back in. But, I have a military ball and a wedding coming up in next 3 months…thought, just try to find one. Stopped at a Macy’s and the sales guy was advising to stay with wool, but be wary of the ‘package deals’ because you may get your jacket size but pants may be off…example a combo offered of a 42R jacket, came with a 36W, 32L pants (I need a 42R, with 32x34 pants)

What’s the difference, he threw in regular cut, slim, Chicago….are pleated shirts out?

Can I get a complete out-the-door package for under $500?

I'm in a tux 12+ times a year.

I got a screaming deal on my second tux from Men's Wearhouse.  It was a closeout style for $125.  Take it to a decent tailor.  Theirs suck.

I wear a non-pleated shirt with French cuffs and a vest.

Please learn to tie a bowtie if you're going to wear one.

Thanks, I barely tie a tie correctly, but stopped by MW…they were trying to sell me on a house brand, 350 for jacket, 130 for pants, some of which didn’t have the traditional satin stripe. They kind of looked cheap, but they advised they would send it out for dry cleaning, and it would look better. I passed, but did let them tailor a suit I’ve had sitting in my closet for a decade, get it back in two weeks.

The problem is I have to make a run to the other side of the PHX Valley to find someone else that sells tux.

Another question, with a black suit I have…one of the ladies there recommended a dark burglary or oxblood colored shoe…am I that out of touch, or is that a good look?
