Those with larger multi-channel Home Theater Receivers, what kind of Entertainment center, TV stand or furniture do you have your Receiver in? I've got a bit of an older Yamaha 7x140wattsPC receiver. I've got an issue were the receiver is 17-1/8"W x 6-3/4"H x 18-5/16"D... That doesn't account for the inch and a 1/2 volume (or other knobs) or the 7 pairs of binding posts, plus strain relief on those, the RCAs or HDMIs... Pretty much all the existing and new furniture I've seen, the area where the receiver would sit is somewhere from 13-15.75 inches deep, obviously, too shallow for these honkin new receivers... This is something like I had in mind. Can't be too wide or I won't have room for speakers in my less than Ideal living room. Attached File I want eventually mount the TV on the wall and put the receiver in this (top shelf) and the Center Channel on top. I ended up picking up a pretty nice looking Klipsch off of FB Market place this past weekend. Looks brand new. |

What's your budget? Happy to recommend a Pennsylvania builder that makes solid wood stands. Used to be a company called "Standout Designs" but they closed during the COVID down turn. One of their builders, however, got the rights to their designs and builds them himself now. They're expensive, but will also last forever. I've had my custom version of their Haven since 2017 and it's been through several moves. It has active cooling of the cabinets with the fans in back.
