Not only is this the most underrated thrash metal album, but in my opinion it's the best one ever made. Honestly, it's my favorite album of all time, in any genre. It's perfect, all killer no filler. It's better than anything the big 4 have ever put out. These guys being forgotten to time is a damn shame. Thrashy, fast, and very technical with progressive playing and some unique timing. Not to mention absolutely insane screams. I will die on this hill. Slower intro ends at about 1:20, and it's just a constant attack of a song thereafter with crazy high screams.  Plastic Town When the song fully gets going, it has this almost dual main riff that is just insanely catchy.  Nice Dreams Total bruiser of an intro leading into a panic attack of a song. This song was actually featured in the movie Wild at Heart.  Powermad - Slaughterhouse Slow intro fades out at about a minute, and when the riff kicks in, it's just pure speedy thrash.  Final Frontier Again, just awesome riffage And all the other songs on this album. Give them all a listen, it's so totally worth it. Perfect thrash album. |

| I'm 34, so I wasn't around for this stuff when it came out. Got into metal in high school through the mainstream stuff like Maiden and Priest. Got hooked and went to so many damn concerts, even Maiden's shitty Final Frontier tour was awesome since Dream Theater opened for them. It wasn't until I started collecting records until I started finding the better, more obscure stuff. I thrifted tons of metal records over the years, Powermad being a garage sale find I got for $1 about 7 years ago. Some other Obscure favorite finds of mine would be Apocrypha - The Forgotten Scroll, and Hawk - Hawk. |
Man I'm excited to see the returns and opinions after the listening. Also, their early EP was damn good as well. Just some really solid oldschool thrash Terminator |
