A "stone" version of ASA Attached File Up til now I've had pretty good luck with printing right after opening up a new roll of ASA. This one felt like bubble-wrap when you run an extruded thread through your fingers. Would not print worth a damn. Got it in a 70c dryer currently & hoping 4 - 6 hours will straighten it out. If it doesn't, it will be going back. Needed it for printing an outdoor memorial for a recently buried pet. |

Testing after 8 hours. The load extrusion didn't show any bubbles, so fingers crossed. Could feel some bumps/texture but that is also true of unextruded material & likely related to the embedded color flecks. ETA: No joy. Printing air after 10mm height... |

20 hours at 70c & the print was looking nice, but extrusion stopped after about 20mm height. This was while using a 0.6mm nozzle @ 270c. Still had a day left in the return window so back it goes. Other colors from the vendor (black & white) have printed nicely. |
