Put in quotes since it’s both a statement and a question. I’m seeing it crop up more and more as a milestone or even a full on crisis date, so it seems big enough to warrant it’s own thread. Anecdotal, but last year on Tinker AFB the upper ‘brass’ was telling everyone that they should be (more) prepared for war in 2027. I thought, well, isn’t that interesting. If we knew we were or might have war, wouldn’t we throw every diplomatic option out there first to try to stop it? Maybe there is no diplomacy that can stop what’s coming? I’m not a huge conspiracy theorist nor a warmonger nor a believer in ‘aliens’ but I’m also not a huge denier. More of a ‘wait and see’ kind of viewpoint. So, I guess I’ll wait and (maybe) see. |
Year keeps coming up.  From non-scientific years thrown around for "Big Event", 2027 is the peak of a normalization curve (as above) with the edges at 2022 and 2036 holding the 99.8% center 6 standard deviations ( σ ) so it's not anything like a bet everything you have on it, but it's a sort of strange thing which is maybe formed from collective unconscious / synchronicity and we all feel that something is not right but are helpless to label what it is. Can be anywhere but going beyond a decade in comfort and happiness doesn't seem to be in the cards. The strange thing about it is in the past 2 years, it went from being a maybe and in a decade range now openly being spoken about as a specific year for "The Event" which we don't know about and from what several have said, we don't want to know about it. I don't know if sticking our heads in the sand or knowing ago but it changes things. Is it a purely psychological thing where if we all think of it a sort of gateway process thing opens up or is it going to happen anyway so we may as well cash in our 401ks and spend it all on hookers and blow on a Hunter S Thompson sort of way to learn things?. |

Gonzo prepping. I like it. This is “different”. We, a culture, always seem to fixate on a not too far off doomsday. Just look at 2012, 1999, etc. some are big. Some are small. Most have a specific threat. This 2027 thing is different. “You really don’t want to know” is a twist on it that is unique. It’s akin to “What is the Matrix”. Now. If it’s not just the next doomsday prediction and rooted in something solid, which is kind of what this seems, then the only things that would fit the bill are within today’s zeitgeist. UAPs. There is a lot of ambiguity here, but people in government are driving this mostly, with academia a close second, especially the hubbub about interstellar objects, and congressional UAP hearings. I do wonder, Is there Larger conspiracy to prepare people with media around survivalism? It’s been all the rage for 15 years, including a very overblown pandemic. Was that a stress test? I am going to listen to these videos today but I dont buy any of it. Its always the same nebulous bs year after year. I’ll see if anything in these changes my mind but I doubt it. Everybody “in the know” says they cannot tell us what it is, if they are more worried about breaking contracts than 2027 but gut says this will pass us by like a fart in the wind Then they’ll push the next big date to the 2030s to keep stringing us along. Ok, off to start listening |
