Attached File Acquired late in the last century. A gift from me to me. Attached File A gift from my 20-something son. My choice leaned toward simple, convenient and reliable. It has worked well for quite a few years. The style and function difference of the newer Citizen is interesting. Son said the offerings of simple analog dials were few, and it was one of the smallest of them. I love it and make a point to be sure it gets a regular spot in the rotation. It also weighs ~6 times more than the old Seiko  18 grams vs. 120grams! That’s about a quarter pounder -with cheese!Looks odd and silly, in my old school practical point of view; having a timepiece the size of a pocket watch on your wrist. |

In your face Rolex in a Porsche bros. Dirty Seiko in a dirty Hyundai. Attached File I bought it lightly used around $500 in like 2018 or so. I forget the model number but they called it the 62 mas reimagined or something like that (everything was being “reimagined” then). Then they came out with one that looked a lot more like the original and this one got the axe. I like it a lot though. Super legible with a pretty clean design. The car is a Sonata. I know you were wondering.

Here is another County Comm watch that I picked up used a number of years ago. I don't think they make it anymore. The nice thing about it is that you can wear it either way as a Destro or for a right handed person. Just flip it. Attached File |

I bought this as an Amazon open box/return. Regular price around $1,100 but I got it for $635 and can find nothing wrong with it. Came with box, papers, warranty, and on a mesh bracelet which I swapped out for more casual wear. |

This is my old Yes Zulu. I bought it used back in 2013 or thereabouts. It makes a great vacation or outdoor watch. The 24 hour hand with noon at the top is the best arrangement. It's seen better days at this point. That auto DST is not up to date and something caused the Liquid Crystal to fail in a couple places, but it's still readable and I love it.  |

Does anyone else have one of those Maratac "throw down" watches that were selling for ~$30? I want to love it can call it great, but this particular one has a fatal flaw. For some reason (maybe flexing?) occasionally it resets all on its one. It might work for days, but suddenly it shows 1-1 again and the time is a little after midnight. |

I might be mistaken on this, but the 24-hour hand generally was sold with a different pointer that had a head on the end. The needle style pointer is unusual from what I've gathered.
