I don’t know when this pod came out but I stumbled on it recently and started listening today… I’m about half through the first ep and it’s very interesting. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-telepathy-tapes/id1766382649 TL;DR: Researchers discovering that some nonverbal autistic children have a telepathic link to their caregivers. More to come as I listen. Since this came out she has expanded the format, now there’s associated discussions and deeper dives on the Talk Tracks, and the Ibogaine Inquiries is a new series about a drug I’ve never even heard of that sounds fascinating. |

I know and have heard of I guess "empathic" autistics, where they sense the emotions of people but don't know if it is their own emotions or why they suddenly get emotional swings. They do much better one on one sort of settings where emotions are clearly their own but when in a room with a dozen other kids they're flooded with all sorts of emotions and wondering why they're suddenly mad or happy thinking that like everybody else, they should know why they're having the emotions they do. Nothing about particular thoughts of others either transmitting or receiving, but a totally messed up feedback path from emotions of others thinking it is their own and not sure how to stop it so they hide from everything so it narrows it down and suddenly they're calm. People misunderstand that emotional siphoning as some "normal" mental issue when in fact they're receiving and unconsciously mirroring emotions and don't realize it. We all know that is impossible so better give them drugs instead. They can't tell you how a specific somebody is feeling because they have no idea which person an emotion is coming from, themselves or one of the other everybody broadcasting all the time. It's not until high school or even college that they figure out that the emotions might be coming in from somewhere else. |

There have been several experiments and programs where they were extensively used, just not in the public eye. It's not all "Crystal Power" (though they are main adherents)but the Remote Viewers and Gateway Process as well as "The Method" used by Gary Nolan are very interesting and have been partially replicated by myself or other members here. There's also the way dogs know when their master is leaving work, even when late or taking a different mode of transportation. At the very least that is an accepted true and bizarre paper under double blind conditions that showed dogs knew when their owner was about to be coming home. Then there are the other pets that make the trek to other cities, sometimes on the opposite coast, to be with their family that moved and left the pet because they weren't allowed at the new house or they were too busy to take care of it and many other reasons. A couple months later, Fido finds the owners' new doorstep and waits. That's some seriously spooky ESP action going on there. I think humans have some of the same abilities, not for everybody in the general population, especially those who refuse to listen to potential positive tests, it's instantly written off as "Too Woo-Woo", even for me, but some serious studies show connections which should not exist. I'm not saying throw money at it, but with the other non-official suggested "emotional receiver" of some autistic kids, and never even having that as a possible reason for their mood swings does more damage than not. It's all anecdotal at this time because it's extremely hard to set up a double blind test cleanly with kids who are extremely troublesome at the best of times, and the more frustrated the adult figure becomes the more frustrated the kids become... |

I am currently going through Jung’s “Synchronicity” and it’s slow, because I want to ensure I’m catching everything, but he’s a proponent of the Universal Mind … and there’s a moment where Ky (the host of the pod) says the supposition is that these kids are tapping into a universal mind and that’s how they’re able to do it. Like they’re the only ones able to get into that power and see things that normies can’t. |

Nope. And I was REALLY concentrating, too. Ya know there was actually a specific point I was trying to make but I got so damn drunk last night..I don't remember what it was. The song was: "One More Cup of Coffee" by Bob Dylan. I spent a good ten minutes projecting my little heart out, too!!! Synchronicity … no idea why, but even Jung recognized that we see reflections/recurrences that can’t be explained by anything other than a global subconsciousness or something. Latest for me was April Wine - Just Between You and Me It popped into my head driving to a store, I couldn't remember who sung it and was kind of remembering the words, then 5 minutes later, in the store, it comes on at the radio station. That crap happens too much to be coincidence, especially with an "all genre" radio station and an obscure band I never had an album from or particularly liked. I never listen to the radio and didn't know which station was playing in the store. Another was ELO and the one with the killer intro rip, "Do Ya", that happened about 2 months ago. |

Years ago one of my professors showed us a tape of her being operated on for gall bladder surgery with no anesthetic. She used hypnosis to "turn-off" the pain. She also told us about how a young child may get a cut and doesn't really notice it, but when the parent reacts with shock, the child then cries. So, we learn to interpret pain in certain ways. We are an antennae with all of our senses. Most times we rely on sight, sound and smell. Society is noisy. Also, as we grow up we are reinforced to believe in certain ways...we receive grades or are ridiculed if one deviates from the approved path. I believe our ancestors were much more "connected" to the natural and spiritual world..after all, their life depended on theses connections. Much like the old time farmers, they had "sayings" about when, how and what to plant. Their lives depended on it. We are taught if you can't touch, see, smell or measure something, it doesn't exist. As we grow older those beliefs are reinforced. Unfortunately, it seems much of "reality" is ignored and ridiculed. |
