Just flew my last flight in the Army last night. 5.4 hour progression flight with the WO1. 7 years of flying, 3 continents, 1200+ hours. No mishaps. I am lucky. |

I was all set to enjoy a fine day on south beach, when they tossed me the keys, and asked us to fly this 18 miles up to Fort Lauderdale. Only took 33 minutes, gate to gate. And then the reassignment to fly it to ORD, and dead head home. Beautiful VFR day in FL. but we got to do a bunch of deviating around all that weather in central FL.

Took my 7 year old twins flying today. I've taken them a couple times before, but they've been hounding me recently. Probably need to do it more than once or twice a year.Attached File |
