Everyone has heard it referred to as "The Forgotten War", and on that note, I could not find a post about it in the history forum. I have always been fascinated by it for some reason. I am related to someone who fought there in 1951, and knew someone who was involved in a DMZ ambush in 1968. It still affects world politics today. A couple of points that stick with me is how the U.S. troops really took a beating at first, and how the war quickly became a fight between China and the U.S., instead of North and South Korea.
