1 Cor 1: 17-21 17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. It is the same you Scripture you jst posted. Paul says it in verse 17-18 that the Cross is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Cross became the symbol of Christianity, because the Cross is the Wisdom of God. And it is the Blood of Jesus that saves and delivers from sin. |

The Gospel= Life. Do you hear with ears to hear? Have you been made alive/ born again? JESUS told us and warned all men here in this passage: read John 5:21-47. verse 25.) Truly, truly, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of GOD: and they that hear shall live. 1 John 5:11-13 And this is the record, that GOD hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of GOD hath not life. The message was a secret, but it is now fully revealed.
