Anybody got a rear iron sight ? For the life of me I can't find the one I know I have somewhere. Tore everything apart, I give up. Anything that would work w/ ''f'' marked fsb. Carryhandle/fixed/flip up. Anything will work. I ended up helping build a second rifle, this for a nephew who finally came around to our side. Thanks all |

How about a Youngs NM bolt carrier? Bought stripped, I installed key. Works fine. Or a BCG of unknown make? Both are AR-15 not M-16 profile (won't work with binary or FRT triggers). Both replaced because they won't work with said triggers. The gas rings on the complete BCG are pretty worn. Tilt up with bolt on top and it will stay up.. a little shaking will make it drop. The rifle was functioning when it was removed, but will likely need replaced soon. Attached File Edit: Found another bolt, so they are both complete. SScot is getting the Youngs, so only the black one left. Edit-Brotherbadger gets the other. |

Quick progress report. The upper is completed, sans charging handle(im sure I'll find one in the couch cushions). Only main part I'm looking for at this point is a buffer tube assembly.  @OhioEd Got the BCG today. I replaced the gas rings and she's ready to go! Thank you again! |

Anybody have a 16” HBAR or heavy barrel in 5.56/.223 they can spare? I’d prefer a carbine length gas system, but that’s not an absolute. Other than those things, it can be anything. Used, a bit banged up, no finish, stainless or otherwise, fluted or not, or even unthreaded muzzle. Beggars can’t be choosers, as long as it’s an HBAR in 5.56/.223, and 16”. I’m piecing a rifle together for my brother (who doesn’t have a rifle) but he’s in MD so it HAS to be an HBAR for legal reasons. If it weren’t for that, I’d already have something for him. He’s good people, but with a family he doesn’t have a lot of extra money. Given the events of the last 18 months, I’m really trying to give him the means to protect said family. With things generally being in short supply, I have had no luck at all finding one. It used to be that the damn things were everywhere. I have a machine shop and would be willing to trade work(nothing illegal of course) for this barrel. I can thread barrels for example. Thanks in advance. |

Does anyone need tools? I have a spare clamshell upper vice block/insert and a Hammerhead stock wrench. I might have a barrel nut wrench as well but I'll have to look. If we can keep track of where it is and it gets sent to the next person we could have a floating set of tools that materialize Trash Pandas wherever needed. I can also assemble uppers if people don't feel comfortable doing it but it's really best to learn. I remember being so nervous about messing up my first build when I joined but ARF got me through it.

| Can anyone point me to any decent toolcraft deal or a decent bcg? Some issues came up financially (fucking car blew up) in the middle of me assembling my Home defense upper. Looking for a BCG a bolt at least. I might have a carrier here. I'd appreciate any help. And can pay it forward with some smaller parts myself. I'll post them up later. |

In the process of cleaning out the shop and found this so far. The FCG is Colt as far as I recall. The rail appears to be carbine length and is UTG. The railed gas block has a middy gas tube in it and it is a UTG block. The rail panels are KAC and the WML remote switch is streamlight if I'm not mistaken. The buffer is for a 9mm and is KAK, I think. The rest is self explanatory. Let me know if anyone can use any of this. Attached File |
One person you will never see claim anything here is me - I was so fortunate with you guys that I was able to build an AR for me and one for my now ex-wife, which went to my best friend. So I will give here, but never ever receive, since I already did that.  Edit to add - the rifle you guys helped me put together is right up there in the avatar, the Original Trash Panda! |

I have a coworker that I consider a good friend that currently doesn't have a rifle (outside of a 10/22). He has 3 kids, is a good worker, and sold off the bulk of his guns to help cover his youngest son's medical expenses - he has an issue with his bladder where he can't drain it properly, so he his system gets backed up and it affects his kidney function. Anyway, I would be able to cover him for a stripped lower, LPK, stock, a half dozen pmags, and a few hundred rounds of ammo. If anyone could help get him going towards an upper and BCG, I think it'd be awesome, and I know he'd be grateful. I don't have the proper vice blocks to assemble an upper for him, so if someone can point me towards a relatively inexpensive set, I'd cover that as well. I do have a magpul wrench, torque wrench, etc. |

For the ARF hall monitors, this was cleared through Striker and Aimless beforehand. I sold something in the EE to fund a build in this thread. I won’t link to the specific EE post, but it was a SCO-15 lower receiver that I got as part of the BOGO and pledged 100% of the proceeds to the build for Tarheel’s daughter.
