For treating my wife and I and friends like family. Went to the misty city music festival in Niagara and everyone was super nice. But dang though. Its an expensive city. Talked to probably 100 people and they all said they would vote for Trump if they could. Granted these were country music folks so their politics are maybe different than a lot of other Canadians. Anyway, cheers! |

I went to snow Mexico last year. People were kind and welcoming. Customs was way more discriminating on the way into Canada than it was coming home. Id go back. Its an interesting place. Wouldn't want to live there....people drive way too slow. What is up with the speed limits up there there. Its literally out in the tundra...who cares about driving fast? |

My wife and I used to go to a Shakespeare festival in Canada in the summer. Canada was a mix of conservative rural people and harmless liberals. The Canadian dollar was pretty worthless. Everyone was nice. I think like upstate NY a lot of harmless nice Canadian liberals went crazy during COVID and Trump. |

We also did the old casino about a mile or more up into town. We walked away ahead, even after all the USD to CA and back to USD. Did you try the restaurant at the falls in the upstairs of the main building? Best damned cheesecake I’ve ever had! Food was great too, but very expensive. I think we paid $65 CA for a screw top bottle of wine that’s like $9 here.

Was up north of Toronto at the end of August... It's mostly lake cabin/parks up there so was still tourist season aka busy. The area is little more diverse than it was my last trip up. Everyone was pretty nice and cool ( except customs agent Sgt.mapletits ). The one thing that killed me was hot wings by the pound vs quantity. Ate at two different places. 1lb. 9 wings no matter the size lol. I couldn't do the city...where my mom lives is more my style..just lakes rivers and outdoor stuff. Up near the Algonquin park in Muskoka area. |
