I don't know much about those bikes specifically but a clean Japanese cruiser for $3k seems like a decent deal to me. They depriciate so much it makes no sense to buy them new. Change the fluids and ride it. If you don't like it you will most likely be able to get most if not all of your money back. Have fun! |

| You should always be cautious and comfortable but rain is no big deal once you get used to it. If it's really coming down then it's no fun at all but normal rain really isn't a problem especially for short rides. Biggest thing is having good tires that aren't too old and being smooth on the controls. Either way good weather season is upon us so you'll be out soon. |

Nice OP, I've been off the two wheel game for a few years now but that seems like a score! As for your skill level reference, take your time and eyes peeled at all times. When I went to street bikes I was lucky to have years of dirt bike experience so I'd already learned the hard-learned lessons of panicky front braking.

Good looking bike! I remember when they first came out, they were quite popular. Coincidentally I was chatting with a motorcycle cop a few weeks ago and he mentioned that the city offers free rider safety training for motorcycle riders where they teach you all the low speed maneuvers that cops use. I've ridden a C40, and while these Boulevards aren't going to win any races, they're super comfortable and nice bikes. You'll have a TON of good times on it. |

| I rode a C50 for a bit. I had a guy off the forums machine a C90 rear drive and shaft to fit the C50. It dropped the rpms on the highway and subsequently made it more comfortable. That was a good bike, you'll be plenty happy OP. I sold it long ago but I have fond memories of that bike. |
