Never mind, finally got it to work My kid got a steam deck and wants to play Minecraft Bedrock (so he can play on Realms with friends). I know you need a launcher and he has downloaded one of those through the desktop mode. Then he will need sign into his google account through the launcher. My problem is how to actually get the Android Minecraft on the damn thing. We don’t have any android devices, so when we go to google play store and try to buy it, it says it can’t because we don’t have any associated devices. Anyone know how to get around this. |

Not sure why you would try to install the android version on the deck. Go here: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/how-to-install-minecraft-on-steam-deck Scroll down past the JAVA install portion and look or search for How to install Minecraft Bedrock on the Steam Deck. Follow guide. Quite easy tbh. |

I got it to work. Needed the bedrock version since he needed cross platform, not just PC. I had to get an android emulator on my PC to make the play store think I had a android device. |

And I know why you want bedrock, the guide shows you how. |
