Am I the only one who thinks this is an under rated gun store? Good inventory. Everyday prices are often MAP rather than MSRP. 5% mil/vet discount on guns. Every purchase earns points you can apply as a discount to future purchases. They price match local competition. They code credit card purchases as “Sporting Goods” which saves me another 5%. There are often some gems in the used pistol case. Vintage S&W revolvers, 3rd Gen Smiths, 1911s usually priced below market value. The stores in affluent areas are definitely better for trade in / used gun deals. ETA: forgot to mention you can check inventory and pricing online. If your preferred location doesn’t have it they will show you the closest store that does. |

| I never had an issue with SW. Used to work at one 20 years ago. Locally, they slimmed WAY back, so the store seems emptier. Gun selection was decent, but with so many other prominent sporting goods stores around, they aren't getting the best employees. Just sorta...there. |

I will tell you about my first and last experience with Sportsman’s Warehouse. I ordered a Trijicon RMRcc from them online and had to pick it up in store. Opened the box a week later and found the optic was a counterfeit Chinese knockoff. I’m not sure where along the chain it was swapped out for the legitimate one. It could’ve been at the warehouse, it could’ve been at the store. Who the hell knows? I had to drive back over to the store, which was quite out of my way, on my only day off per week, to get a refund. |

I have the opposite opinion. My local Sportsman's Warehouse is not as good as my Bass Pro, and that's not really saying anything. It's mostly clothes and camping gear made in China. The handgun magazine aisle is 25 feet long and tons of pegs holding one magazine each to make it seem like more product than they have. That aisle could easily be 5 feet long. Any lower parts kits are trash brands like Tapco. They have a Magpul section and tons of bolt action rifles that are just odd enough nobody buys them. Think Ruger American left hand in a 32" barrel in .287 oddball. Overall there is no need to go in. I go to locally owned gun stores instead that have tons of cool stuff and don't sell clothes. |

This is the view from the parking lot of the Twin Falls Sportsman’s Warehouse. When I first moved here a few years ago, it was my go to store. Over the last few years they’ve become a bit less competitive price wise. Still drop by on occasion to check things out, they’ve recently had some decent ammo deals.

It’s the same time that PSA acquired the rights to AAC, H&R, etc. While Tapco has quite the storied history as a brand, Sportman’s has done some work to try and correct it. Pretty much all of it is US made now and some stuff isn’t too shabby, like the AR small parts. |

It's an uneven place for me. Sometimes they have semi obscure models of things at surprising discounts. I got a CZ Lux for $400 below list, and a $300 store credit. Otherwise, not much different than any place else. Within a mile of each other, we have a Dicks, a BassPro, a Scheels, an REI, a Sportsmans, and a Black Flag Outfitters. I do not know how they all stay in business. |

Yep, on the east side of University Mall, decent selection of guns, reloading, ammo, suppressors, etc. I haven’t been to that location in a couple of years though since moving out of the Wasatch Front, so things may have changed a bit. I assume their selection will be similar to what I see regularly at the Logan store though. Also, if you’re in the Orem area it’s worth it to check out Gunnies as well. |

| I hadn't been in a SW in quite a while, but earlier this week I had to go out of town. I had some time to kill and found myself near one. I went in and looked around. Their pistol selection was not bad, average, but I was surprised to see many things priced very reasonably. I looked at ammo and found it to be the same- just a little above Internet prices. Maybe + $20 a case or so. Not wanting to walk out empty handed, I grabbed a little .45ACP. |

Plus they price match. yea I was literally onea their first customers when they built the one here... bought a Springfiekd Armory XD Tactical .40 s&w cause a friend wrote a Gun's magazine artical on the XD vs Glock, we were importing the surplus HS 2000s at the time but I had no interest in tupperware guns at all nor .40S&W I was 10mm and either 1911 OR Witness and carried a P01 as my EDC........; he convinced me to check em out and I was going to the grand opening of our Sportsmans so..... thing pointed so naturally I left with it.... figured it could be my first tupperware gun and my first .40 s&w, Ever since its become onea my favorite places for reloading supplies and guns |

I swore them off after they pulled two out of stock scams on me. I used to watch their sales and clearance guns like a hawk and score some awesome deals. My last to attempts showed in stock items on sale. I would place an order that would go through and the sale would get canceled by them 24hrs later because the item was "out of stock". In 24-48hr the item would be back in stock at a much higher price. Both times they refused to honor the price of the original order. The whole ordeal made no sense, but just turned me off from them. |
