I've recently gotten hooked on SM2 modding (Installing, not creating. Yet anyways) & since such games are limited to private servers, necessitating invites, I was hoping to generate a reliable group list of fellow SM brothers who would be interested in like Fri (late) or Sat night gaming sessions. Modding this game is easy thanks to the studio's support via making it utterly easy to install mod files & releasing tools to the mod community. I really like how the modders have retuned the game to being in line with the lore & OG board game rules. It's less grindy, & your SM can actually weigh into the hordes without needing to constantly retreat (blasphemy) just to maintain your health bar (Contested health is garbage in the base game, IMO). Mods can up the challenge & also make abilities more readily available via realistic recharge rates & lore accurate equipment loadouts with moar weapons available per class instead of being artificially limited just to maintain the developer-envisioned "game balance" (as opposed to the lore & OG BG rules) with no class  locking! There are mods to add more bots, & even 6- & 12-player mods (with proportional difficulty scaling) in a PvE ops or siege game. Imagine a difficulty upscaled game taking on a 20K HP hive tyrant. Actually, you don't have to:

INSANE 20,000 HEALTH HIVE TYRANT FIGHT | 12 Players Space Marine 2

12p Trygone op mission:

12 Player Trygon Mission - Absolute | Space Marine 2

Modding SM2 is as easy as it gets. Chime in if interested.

I don't play modded, but I've got over a couple hundred hours in game. My best friend has over 400 hours.

I'm finishing up a playthrough of Witcher 3, then hopping back into SM2 to farm cosmetics and achievements.
