Just an update, he passed his PP written test back in November and Friday did his first solo cross country (110 nm round trip). Had a bumpy road along the way and is back on track. He has 90 flight hours with a few huge breaks in training along the way due to my not so big wallet. So proud of what this 17yr old has done so far, just thought I would give everyone a update. He has a few solo flights to local airports, this was his first 52nm mile one.  |

Make him get the written done now, we had to cut my son off from flying as his instructor said no cross country until it was done. He drug his feet a few months then took it. Problem was all the stuff he lost proficiency in had to be repeated and cost me more money. Like $3000. |
