[Last Edit: mancat]
I was watching some Russian mil training videos on Youtube came upon this one. Looks fairly small scale but nevertheless their gear looks to be in good shape. I was curious though, exactly who does Russia consider a target of a potential beach invasion? Obvious answer seems given current events to be Ukraine/Crimea, but who else? Anyone outside of the black sea?

Their landing craft are designed for beach landings.  There are very few of those in the Gulf of Finland near military targets
There are a very few places to land front-loading amphib craft.  But they're well away from anything of strategic or even simple tactical value
Not unless it's staged on a massive scale, which Finland (and allied nations) would easily notice crossing the Gulf
Amphibious assaults require audacity, they're designed to apply shock and overwhelm quickly

The same is not true for closer (or even neighboring) nations.

The Baltics forces are (at most) likely arrayed for recovery of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.  Russia is "at least" maintaining a presence in the region.
They might even excuse the close proximity of amphibious assault elements as a viable training location, which is nearly laughable, it gets fucking cold up there.

But amphibious assault forces aren't exactly used for patrolling or policing coastal waters, they're for rapidly projecting power.
Russia still remembers having all that coast for access to northern Europe, and at one level or another they'd probably like it back.
Historically, they see those states as theirs, they've annexed them before and they'll probably do it again if given half a chance

As for the Black Sea contingents, they're most likely for the same reasons, only for use against Ukraine all the way down the coast to Bulgaria

They'll have to wait for some sort of political, social, economic, or cultural bungle though... all of those nations are NATO members
