So what'cha got lit up RIGHT NOW: Part IV Puros Ahoy! (Page 45 of 50)
Sat outside on the deck (I'm petsitting, second job that connects with my primary job) with a Nub Connecticut and a White Mocha from Scooter's. Coffee (hot, that is) usually destroys my system, but the combo sounded good this morning.
Had one of these cigars when I first grabbed them ~June, was not impressed, Extremely difficult draw, killed the enjoyment. Not this time. Don't know if the first was just a bad cigar, or if a couple months in the humidor made that much difference, but this was the smoothest cigar I've ever had. It didn't have a lot of flavor, but it was just smooth. Very easy draw, lots of smoke. Not all that much flavor, but paired with a light, flavored coffee, it was perfect. Definitely prefer a MOW Virtue flavor-wise, but for a light, absolutely relaxing cigar on a Sunday morning after a late Saturday night, it was perfect. Great combination of coffee and cigar flavors, this will be a once or twice a week thing for me, I'm extremely relaxed.

I'm lame. Never got into coffee, and don't dring alcohol anymore. So it's usually pop or tea with my cigars. Even though I'm not a coffee drinker, I have to say that a coffee and Nub sound pretty tasty together. Wish I wasn't at work.

Yep, I did it. About 1/2 through the Nub. And 90% done with my weekly assignment for class. Hell yes. This will continue, it better not get cold too soon this year. |

Better than I was expecting. If you like a peppery cigar, then this is a good one. Pepper, pepper, and more pepper. A little bit of cedar/wood. I think there was some creamy flavors to it, but it was hard to tell with all of the pepper. It reminded me a lot of a romeo y julieta habana reserve and the sol cubano cuban cabinet. |

gurkha micro batch liga vh-7. i know gurkha gets a lot of hate here but i really enjoyed it and it only cost me $3. it was medium bodied and the burn was perfect. it had notes of white pepper and leather and it had a really nice spicy quality that i just couldn't put my finger on. maybe jamaican all spice or ginger.
i can't wait to get home and cook some decent meals. lithuanian food is really bland and has no flavor. |
