Not interchangeable. Have you messed around with any of the new poly 211's? Wondering how they shoot compared to the staccato P4 given the similar footprint. My GTO is very good. |

I don’t get all caught up in the stuff about them being unsafe. Maybe they are or maybe not. The raider is what the 320 is perfect for. I don’t have any desire to get a 385. Nothing there that wows me Two consecutive new pistol lines (P211 and P385) that use P320 magazines allows Sig to sell the warehsouse full of P320 magazines without selling many more P320s. This magazine compatibility was not a coincidence but a feature. |

You dont need the app for the dot to work and zero. I was a bit skeptical when i saw the prototypes because all digital seemed iffy. But that thing has been beat up like crazy and they dont break. It has zero moving components inside, all solid state. We actually had to get new water depth testing equipment just because of them. They were able to go so deep in the water that the water pressure was physically pressing the buttons in on the optic, not the optic failing due to water incursion. Image is insanely good through them as well since its plate glass inside. Before the tinfoilers get crazy, you can shut Bluetooth off and the optic still works. We can’t hack your optic  385 trigger is wayyy better to me than any 365 ive ever shot. I'd love the ability to automatically zero with a known-size printable target. Shoot a group at a certain distance, take a photo, and the app automatically makes the adjustment. Without sounding like a complete boomer, just being able to tap a button in an app instead of turning the physical screws on the optic has no advantage for me and I don't really need multiple zeros. Adaptive brightness seems cool though. Edit: I guess adjusting via the app could be nice if it tells you how many clicks you've taken, which can be annoying on some optics with indistinct detents. Maybe it's more useful than I thought lol. As far as basic optics quality goes, it looks pretty clear and distortion free (though that's a bit overrated with target focus anyway). I'm also curious if the buttons are a bit more recessed than on the Romeo-X, where they're a bit too easy to accidentally press while carrying.

The polymer 211 is better for me than the GTO and all metal models. The polymer seems to soak up some of the recoil impulse and its very smooth to shoot. Il personally be buying a polymer GT4. So we do have an app (Sig Connect) that essentially takes your smart phone camera and tells you what adjustments you need to make to zero your optic after you shoot your target. Combine that with the app menu for the xray which does tell you how much you’re moving the reticle in comparison to the target on the screen. So if i shoot and need to move the reticle over about 2” at 15yds, when i adjust in the app it will tell me 2 clicks = 1.85” or whatever. Its very easy to use and understand. |
