I am learning to use HA, so for the only entries I have is for Network UPS tools, Octoprint for my 3D printer, the forecast for my city. In a few days I will get my HA coordinator and new smart outlets that work with zigbee. I need some ideas on what to add. |
Privacy&Cyber Security Advocate. Protecting privacy will come at a cost. Use encrypted email (Proton). messaging (Signal), and a vetted VPN. Social media is mind poison.

Z-wave switches, fan controls, and door sensors. ZigBee outlet, smart plugs, IR blaster, adn presence sensors. Android TV and Kodi integration for the remote cards. Switchbot Tilts and bluetooth proxies for blinds. Ecowitt for local weather and indoor temp and humidity. Also pulling weather data from 2 other units in Anchorage AK and Richmond VA. Soon Long Island NY. All Ecowitt WS90 weather stations. Homekit integration for Ecobee thermostat, Sensi air purifiers. Power monitor in the panel for 16 circuts via MQTT and some smart outlets for individual devices. NUT UPS Tools. Reolink, Tapo, and Blink cameras. Tuya Local for FancyLED TV backlight. USGS Earthquake. Still messing with local voice integration. Future LLM integration for above local voice integration. Misc stuff: Jellyfin, SABnzbd, Transmission, Sonarr, Lidarr, Radarr, Mediarr, There are newer more advanced smarter and fancier ways to build dashboards now. Ive just been building/adding off the same dashboards for a few years now rather than start from scratch. Horizontal layouts, vertical stacks, swipe cards, tabbed cards. |
I primarily use HA for consolidating my solar/storage systems into a single view. I used to have actionable items but Tesla took that away with a relatively recent API change. I should make it look prettier, but I honestly haven't put any effort into it. My family uses Apple Home for most of our automations, though I've moved the core of most of them to HA and then share from HA into Apple Home. |
