Anyone play Shadowdark? Seems like basic D&D rules mostly. Is it? The arcane library I like Wylock's armory on youtube. He reviewed the game, and said he liked it. 22min.  So...let's talk about Shadowdark. I'm not really liking 5e. Everyone is over powered. Rangers are magic users? Thinking about trying this after we move. |

Believe it's level limited to 10. They have a new Kickstarter due this year that is supposed to expand things a bit. Old School Essentials is another one that you might look at. One version is just B/X and the other is B/X merged with 1E. Dungeon Crawl Classics is good if you want some gonzo type play. |
