| I am looking for recommendations for a good sealant. The deck is in a temperate rain forest but also sees a lot of sun. It's a harsh environment so it needs something really effective. I'd prefer to not have to reapply every other year. |

Have had excellent results from TWP 100 series, use it every few years. Old school stuff, oil based, VOCs, absorbs into the boards like crazy, mineral spirits cleanup. As always, keys are proper prep (cleaning and brightening), and application (temperature, humidity, no rain, even coats with no puddles). https://www.twpstain.com/twp100-5gallon |
| I have used and recommend Olympic Elite oil based stain. That said, a semi solid or solid stain will probably last longer than a stain/sealant. |

Great stuff. However, I dont believe iit is oul-based. Which one of the reasons I chose it. Easier to reapply when needed... |
