| When I was shopping for a hardtail, the one I liked the most was Salsa's Timberjack but it was substantially more expensive than the other bikes I tried. I ended up going with a Trek Roscoe 8, which I love. I think bikes were already starting to be discounted at that time (my Roscoe price was reduced by $400 at most shops and $500 where I bought it), but Salsa was behind the curve on making that correction. |
