I know the games been around a while, but my daughter and I started playing the end of January when we were iced in. This game is addicting as hell and fun. I literally havent touched GT7 (my go to game) or anything else for that matter. It was super hard at first to get used to the mechanics, but it cool to see progress each time its played and getting better. Anyone else here play it? |

| I just picked it up last month after taking a year or so off. I've been playing the hell out of comp heat seeker. I first picked it up on the Switch and then moved to the PS4 when it went free to play. Now I'm on PC through Epic. I'm not very good at it and I think I made it to platinum once but I enjoy it. |

Been playing since steam days....not entirely sure how many hours I have in the game but it's probably a lot. I play with my kids and some friends of mine. I generally sit around Plat 3 to Diamond 1. Probably better than 'average', but still not really that good. I'm not mechanical at all...I can hit aerial shots but I'm not air dribbling or hitting flip resets or anything wild like that. Minimum: Use ball cam pretty much constantly. Be able to hit the ball 95% of the time you go for it without opposition. If you can't do those things, do free play and training until you can. After that I would focus on team mechanics. Meaning knowing how and where to position and face your car in order to support your team mates, knowing how to rotate properly, when to attack and when to retreat/defend. Just knowing those and executing it will take you into high gold easy. |

This season I have 1 gold game category, and then a few silvers and a bronze or 2. So luckily Im progressing and its tangible to see, so encouraging. And agreed. Im definitely more aware now of rotating and defending vs just ball chasing like I was when new. Its great when youre thrown on a team with a random (I dont use mics) and you can both see each other playing that way and start smoking the opponents. Unfortunately sometimes you still get thrown in with either someone that sucks or is a ball chaser, and you just have to make the best of it to not lose rank points
