Was traveling in Lucerne and this brand was advertised. What’s y’all’s opinion of this brand. Is it true the Swiss movement is pretty much the same across the mid tiers? Similar to tissott? |

Manufactured in Switzerland, however owned by a Hong Kong based company. Many of their movements are quartz, including all of their chronographs it appears. You are of course welcome to give them a try if you like their design language, but I'd say there are better options around that price point. In the end, it's all about buying/wearing what you enjoy. Most of the mid-grade Swiss mechanical watch makers (assuming actual Swiss components) as well as non-Swiss microbrands pursuing the "Swiss" cachet, use movements by these guys: https://www.eta.ch/en/. |
