Deepest condolences, Carla. I always enjoyed Andrew's posts, both here and on Facebook. Even my wife knew who he was, and she was heartbroken to hear of his loss.
I'm a father, in my forties now, and in the last five years I've lost two friends, young, healthy guys who were just awesome friends who simply 'didn't wake up one day'. I never pried for details out of respect for their families but in all honesty I was left searching for a reason 'why' something like this happens. I'm sure the people asking what happened to Andrew only do so because they too are trying to make sense of a truly senseless tragedy. No disrespect intended. |

I have Grin and his family on my mind today as I go about my work. I hope we can comfort Carla in her grief, while all of us are reminded that we don't know when our time here ends.

Damn This really sucks. I never got to meet Grin in person. To tell you the truth he annoyed the crap out of me when he first came around posting in MOHTF. He always had some stupid post trolling somebody. The more & more he posted I started to be really entertained. Some post were downright hilarious. By the time he called out Chad9mm and wanted to fight him I was willing to go watch & root him on! Sorry to the family for your loss. |
