It is with great sadness that I announce to those who knew him that my friend M1-Matt a member of this forum for years has passed away.

I am speechless...
Just when I thought this week could not make me sadder with grief and loss - it just did. I was not very close with Matt, but would IM him over the years to see how he was holding up over the many years of his taking care of IIRC his father, then mother. He had to quite his job to tend to the family needs and they were many from daily household chores to taking them to the Dr. sometimes 3-4 times a week. Matt, my Brother, I hope your hard and difficult life that earned you a premature summons to heaven brings you eternal peace - my heart aches with this news and I wish to extend to your family, loved ones and friends the deepest of condolences. Your life and memories here at, on and with Arf.com will continue - thank you Brother for all the kindness and support you graced us with. You will be missed, you will be missed. I wish you peace my friend, I wish you peace. God rest his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed forever and ever Amen. |

Andy Sampson? I haven't seen him since '89, last I heard was that he sliced up both his wrists and skateboarded off a bridge. I don't know if it's true or not but I'd like to think that it is.

Wow. Matt, you were always a happy and positive face every time we got together. You were part of the original crew that started up what became very successful NJ Hometown Forum shoots and smaller get-togethers. Your selfless actions in caring for your family, putting your own life and personal happiness a FAR second, did not go unnoticed by everyone who knew you. You've earned a ton of good karma, man. I hope you're cashing in big time right now.
