Reta, thank you for sharing him and your family with us, it is a blessing. I know it hasn't been easy for you and I wish you and your family comfort in the days to come. Please remember that he loves you and your family with all his heart and much love from here for sharing him with us. |
Tossed & turned last night asking God so many questions. As I asked him all my questions I knew that there were answers I'd never get because we're not supposed to know or have all the answers that's where our faith must sustain us. Even asked The Lord to forgive me for complaining about the stupid things in life and worrying about things that just don't matter. I was ashamed. Jeff, you helped me realize The Lord has given me everything I need and yet I kept living in my past, wondering about my future and disregarding my present. The shape this country is in had made me lose hope in my fellow Americans but through this thread I've been reminded good people still exist , hope is still alive , generosity thrives and given the chance good people can do great things. Thank you Jeff for sharing your story and renewing my soul. Prayers continue  keep fighting !

Jeff will see way more spectacular things where he's going, even though all of us wish that he could stay here and travel with us.

Jeff, you and Reta are in my prayers. I'm heartbroken here and I want nothing more than healing here. I wish I could do more. This is in God's hands, and I pray his armies of angels surround Jeff right now and bring healing and health back. This is my GF's pup---Chellie. I hope it brings a little smile to your face my good friend. God bless you dear Brother.

I am so sad to hear this news. Reading the past few pages has brought tears to my eyes. This has been an amazing thread, I believe it has brought some people to God. Maybe that is the plan.
Jeff and Reta, you are an amazing couple. Your strength and love for each other has shone through in this thread. I am still praying for a healing, for peace and comfort and faith for both of you. I wish you and you family all the best. Mike |

Who are we to interfere with God's plan? We pray, we support, we care, we remember. These acts will never end even though our earthly being may meet life's inevitable counter-part. Jeff's battle has been an inspiration and has helped me greatly to put my life into perspective. I believe I posted a picture of my deer I harvested on Sunday. I took my kids along with me to retrieve my Mule Deer from the field. It will be a cherished moment for me going forward. I doubt the thought of having my young children trudge along with me and retrieval crew would have so much as crossed my mind. That is, until Jeff's story made me realize that every moment we have with our children is precious. Thank you for that Jeff. |
