2021 Pilot. 168,000 on original brakes. Starting to shimmy under heavy braking. When it cools off a little this fall I’m going to do a brake job using all Honda pads and new Honda rotors. Is there any required black magic with resetting ECM, dealership computer required for making parts relax so calipers can be opened up? Or can I just go old school and crack the bleeder and open them up, slap on new parts and bleed the system down replacing old fluid? If Voodoo is required I’ll just make an appointment at my dealership in a few weeks. |
