For enlisted Marines, their administrative/training records were called SRBs Service Record Books For Marine officers, it was OQR. Officer Qualification Record. What were the U.S. Army equivalents? Thanks in advance |

Official Military Personnel File. Everything on the ERB or ORB was supposed to be backed by a document in the OMPF. In the olden days, I also recall terms like "SMIF" and "201 file" being tossed about. I was even an S1 for a while, so I should know better. But I hated that job, hated SIDPERS III (the STAMIS at the time, before we went to i-PERMS), and everything was in such flux I believed nothing anyone told me. |
