10/28/22 update: I KNOW it looks like there is money in the Fund...but they only show what comes in. Not what goes out. And this has been going for a while. Lot of dogs helped. Lot of dogs transported.
So...we just paid the attorney retainer and there is not money for Jack Frost. Please hit the GoFundMe. (I promise it will be a Give-Send-Go for next fundraiser.) Times are tough right now for a lot of us, so bumps to threads make a big difference, and small donations add up to big help. We do not take it for granted. Thank you so much to all who can help! ~Kitties   Mr. Jack Frost is around 12 weeks old and he is the runt of the litter he came in with the husky puppies and we knew from the beginning something wasn’t right, he wasn’t the energetic, mischievous puppy that you normally get with a litter of huskies! He doesn’t eat much and doesn’t play like his siblings, so I decided it was time to see the vet ! After a negative parvo test and a few other tests, the vet says Jack has double pneumonia , is almost blind , losing his hearing , small heart murmur and his liver isn’t filtering his blood properly, his little belly is bloated cause if it Edit by Kitties: Something went wonky with this post so I will tell you that apparently Jack Frost is on antibiotics to fix the pneumonia, then vet will assess whether he can have surgery or not.   |

With humans, severe infections such as UTI cause loss of sight and hearing (IIRC)...any hope of his senses coming back after infection is under ctrl?

I swear when one person or dog gets sick everyone in the house gets sick at the same time lol Jack is sick and then my 3yr old and 8 yr old lol thank goodness it’s not the same thing !!
Jack man will not be able to regain his senses, I’m not sure exactly but the white dogs with blue eyes tend to have a lot of issues I have learned in rescue!! Vet says it’s so working about a gene or something. He has another appointment in 14 days to see if he can do surgery, till then he is on medication and I am giving him IV fluids every 12 hours !! He is so tiny but is a fighter and he isn’t fighting alone !! We will fight every battle with him, for him and next to him!! Thank you so so much for the donations it helps so much I will be able to get him another Bag of IV fluids and another round of his medication!!!

 Jack is kicking pneumonia‘s butt he is even able to go for a long walks now with taking short rest along the way!! Thank you guys so so much , we see the vet next week to get an estimate on surgery!! |

Thank you so much everyone for the donations!! Jack is still kicking butt! He can go for a walk in the woods now without having to be carried, he is playing and acting more like a puppy!!
Still has a long road but I’ll take the little wins when I can !! Even only getting iv fluids 2 times a day now !!!

   Jack man went to the vet and we have good and bad news , good news his liver is fine and won’t need surgery on his liver, bad news … still has pneumonia and his heart Murmur is not where we want it to be and there’s still fluid in his stomach we don’t know where it’s coming from . So we need to do a chest X-ray, ultrasound sound , Fecal sample, bloodwork and a test that will show us how well his heart is functioning. I need to raise $300-$600 for all the test ! Thank you guys so so much!! He started some new medicine today that had him throwing up so they gave him some tummy medicine and he is acting much better !!
