Im not sure if its possible to ID what kind of plane a certain propeller would have been on. If anyone has any info on the pictures id be grateful. Thanks Pics |

Looks like McCauley, PN D3AF32C80. You can look at the McCauley application guide to see what it could be used on. ETA: Odds are it came off a Cessna 310. All of the above based on a images search for a model match, if the size is off that could change things. |

So I went to go pick it up and I got more info from stampings on the hub. McCauley Ser. No XXXXXX Can't make out what it used to be buts starts 66 before it was crossed out..... not sure if that means its been decommissioned or something? Also has: Mod No. 3A32C76-SALM Based off the website Seek2 provided it looks like A555 guess it right a Bonanza or a Debonair. I was hoping it was military but oh well. I got it just to hang on the wall. Do these have much of a market? Not sure if I overpaid having 0 idea what I was really buying. Online it says obsolete so i guess just collector value now. Never the less always wanted a propeller for the wall for no apparent reason. Thanks for the help in identifying what exactly it was. |
