I am wondering if anyone knows the timeframe which a company has to pay prevailing wages once work was completed with a prevailing wage rate. I travel for work and work in a number of states. CA,OR, WA, NV, CO are the recent states that had prevailing wage adjustments. Thanks |

It depends on the state. Every state has their own laws regarding this, if they have any. For instance, in NH we don't have prevailing wage law for public works projects or anything like that, but we do have a 72 hour rule: Once employment is terminated, all unpaid wages need to be paid within 72 hours (RSA 275:44). |
