I recently posted about my dog with a malignant melanoma. Her allergies are now flaring up and or she has a bacterial skin infection possibly caused by the allergies. This needs to be cleared up before lymph node removal in 2 weeks. For the next 2 weeks she will need 2 baths/week. It’s also possible she may start to need multiple baths per month after things are cleaned up with prescribed shampoo so I’m a looking at getting a dog washing station set up in the basement. I’ll also be using it for other dogs. Currently have a relatively new dual sink washtub with a kitchen faucet which worked ok but isnt the best. I’ll be keeping that and installing a dedicated one for the dogs. Wondering if anyone has done this before and provide pictures, drawing or links? Should I get a dedicated complete station or do another dual washtub with a shower wand dropping from the ceiling? I’ll be using pex for the water lines and already have a 2in drain to tie into. Thanks in advance for any suggestions |

Thanks in advance for any suggestions See if you have a Hollywood Feed store near you, they typically have a place where you can wash your dog for $10 or so. |

I have a few local pet stores that have pet washes but with the time, money and hassle it would be alot more productive to do a in home setup. I’m thinking of adding a garden hose mixing valve to my current pex lines and using a single bin utility tub. A whole wash station setup like the one below Amazon seems to be about the same price as piecing together my own.

Option one: Attached File Option 2: We bought this for our 72# Collie and 52# Samoyed. It’s been great (for our backs). The collie prefers it for grooming over the grooming table we have. We have it in the basement next to the utility sink. We use a shorter garden hose with sprayer hooked up to the utility sink faucet.
