What is there to say about Pat that countless others who knew him haven't said already? I can honestly say that I wouldn't be the man I am today had I not met, trained with and befriended Pat. He taught me much more beyond the realm of gunfighting. If Pat liked you, you knew it. If Pat didn't like you, you knew it. He wasn't afraid to speak his mind and while we didn't agree on everything I still respected him greatly. Pat was the epitome of what a great instructor should be. He slapped me upside the head more than once, but because I deserved it, it was a learning occurence and I'm not a liberal pussy I look back on those times fondly. I've met some life long friends through Pat that feel the same way I do I'm sure.
Pat Rogers was truly a great American and now more than ever our country needs more people like him. |
