 I was contacted today by a family with a sick puppy, most likely parvo but they can not afford expensive vet bills (Mark had actually helped her and her father out rehoming dogs a little while back, one dog actually went to fluffy the cat lol ) I tried to talk the lady into surrendering the puppy to a rescue I know in the area, the lady explained they just had to put a senior dog down and for their son got a puppy from a “friend “ and after only a week he is sick , and she just wants to know if I know a vet that takes payments near her…. Well I do not and unfortunately if that pup doesn’t see a vet he isn’t going to make it to morning, so I called the local vet and offered to pay a chunk of the bill if they could see the pup asap!! I want you all to know that you all helped save this pup, I know in my heart, it’s exactly what Mark would have done if he was here, the owners suck but the puppy shouldn’t suffer because of it!! No dog left behind |
