I'm getting tariff fever here and decided to by my top wish watch. So looking at these four Panerai Luminors. The all have the same Panerai Calibre P.9010 with a 72 hour power reserve. The 44mm are rated at 300m, the 42mm at 100m. Not much difference otherwise. My daily wear is 43mm, so I'm comfortable with either size. The question is should a Panerai wear a little large, as kind of their trademark style, or would the 42mm look as good, but might be more comfortable. I do like a bracelet over a strap. The prices are list, but I see them discounted at the gray market outlets. PAM00722 - 42mm with black dial  PAM00977 - 42mm with silver dial  PAM01562 - 44mm with black dial  PAM01564 - 44mm with white dial  |
| I have a Panerai 00000 which is a manual wind. One of the reasons I bought it was because of the strap options and it helped the watch wear a little better on the wrist. It doesn't get the wrist time because of its size and may sell it once the Swiss tariffs get cooking. |

Thank you everyone for the replies and advice. Reading them made me realize why I was having such a difficult time deciding. It's almost impossible to pick one of these. Whichever one I pick, it still feels like I'm leaving something behind. So (don't tell my wife) I decided to get two, although the second may have to wait a couple of months. That'll also give me time to do something nice for her.  Just ordered: PAM01564. I really like the clean look. And the combination of 44mm & 300m is the true Paneari DNA. Next one: PAM00722. Almost the opposite of the 1564. Smaller, black dial, nice splash of color. The 100m is the compromise, but I'm going to set the bracelet aside and pair it with a simple black leather strap, so it's not really a dive watch at that point. Kind of like this one, but minus the white stitching.  |

(Two PSAs at the bottom) The PAM01564 arrived a while back. I liked it except one thing, the way the case projects way above the bracelet. Something about the new thinner bracelet attached at the bottom of the thick case. But after a couple of days, I decided to keep it. Exactly a day after I removed the Joma orange tag, I found out that Panerai came out with new 2025 models that solve all the issues of the PAM01564. They are thinner, the new movement is more universal, a display back was added, water resistance is up to 500 meters, and hacking seconds are back. Joma was nice enough to take the PAM01564 back, even though the tag was cut off, and I ended up getting one of the new models from the boutique. At full price, unfortunately, but at least it comes with the 8 year warranty this way. PSA 1: Don't buy a current model Panerai. The 2025 models are so much better. PSA 2: And that was the bad surprise. Jomashop charges an 8% return fee on all watches priced at $7k or above. These are four of the five new models. 2nd from the left is a titanium model. I ended up buying the fifth one below.  This is the one I ended up with. In the end, it was worth all the hassle. I just really like it.
