The biggest SSD Drive has nothing to do with the Memory (RAM/Random Access Memory) of the PS5. The PS5 has 16GB of GDDR6 RAM for games, and an additional 2GB of DDR5 RAM for the OS. Users can easily add a larger SSD to store more stuff but you're locked to the amount of RAM in the PS5 and how fast it allows you to run stuff on it as it accesses it. If it worked well a couple patches ago and now is messing up, I'd say it's a software problem. It may be a pain in the ass, but you might just have to turn off the PS5 each time and boot fresh each time you play. Put another game in standby then come back later and see if it does the same crap as MW3. Other than that I don't know much else. I'm not super techy to begin with, anyway. |
