Same. Hes just so damn consistent. Cold blooded. Seems to never get rattled. Its different from Tiger. People were so intimidated by Tiger it was like he had already won the tournament before it started. With Scotty it's almost like... if he is in the lead after the second round you better start doing something special because he is going to cruise on to victory if you don't. Definitely a joy to watch. |

Sure makes a guy pause, winning the Masters with an illegal driver, 50th place with a legal club. I am sure Chamblee will be all over that  |

A lot of them do. Being one brand from driver to ball is fairly rare. Even with his win, he makes a fraction of other pro athletes. Brock Purdy just inked a deal with the 49ers for more than that every month for the next 5 years guaranteed and he’s only the 7th best QB. Don’t get me wrong I’d trade places with Scotty today for that $$ but a lot of expenses come out of that check. Heck his caddy gets 10% off the top, taxes are another ~50%. Then the agent, the assistant, coach, travel on and on. I would guess endorsements pay him more than he makes on the course in a year. |
