This might be a dupe...I tried to post it before and I can't find the thread to bookmark it! First: I can't seem to get the AMS to load filament on its own. I import a file into Bambu Studio, try to print, and filament won't feed. I get prompted to feed it manually until it stops (giant pain in the ass!), check to see if it extrudes, and retry. Sometimes it works, others it takes multiple attempts. I can't seem to find any commands to get this thing to do what it should. Sometimes, it doesn't even recognize the filament in the AMS without manually editing. I'm using Bambu filament. Second: How do I get a small file to print multiples? Say, a keyfob or small trinket. I'd like to (possibly) resize and have the printer do multiples rather than just one little item at a time. Any advice? Thanks in advance to all the experienced guys out there! |

I just ordered a p1s combo on amazon. Not here yet, so i can't comment on the ams yet. For the file thing, do you just want to set up multiple files on the same build plate? What slicer are you using? You should be able to load a file in your slicer, and copy and paste, or duplicate, or something to print as many as you want in one shot. |

I've barely figured out how to get a file into Bambu Studio to begin. I"m beginning to think that 71 is the wrong age to be trying all this shit...I can only pull out so much hair!!! After a bit of reading, youtube perusing, and trial, I've solved the issue of resizing and printing multiples on one plate! Thanks for the suggestions. I wish it were more intuitive...maybe it is for some folks, just not me. As far as the AMS 2 Pro feeding issue, I haven't solved that one. I can get all set up to print in Bambu Studio, but filament doesn't feed. The program prompts me to manually push filament through the AMS/buffer/tubing all the way to the extruder before it will feed on its own. It's a huge PITA, and I can't seem to find any documentation that addresses it, anywhere. Anyone else having the problem? |

Thanks. I have 4 spools of PETG drying in the AMS now, so I'll give you some more info when I have access to the unit. As far as connections, etc., I bought the printer as a combo, all cables were included, and you can only connect them one way. The filament buffer was pre-installed as it was received. The setup was as simple as it could be. I've only done 2 test prints, both of which turned out good...it's just the feeding anomaly that's an issue. I'll try to get some screenshots or something to give you an idea of what's happening...if nothing else, I'll try the 'potato photo' route  . I'm not the most modern-tech savvy guy on the planet...Thanks for the assistance. It really is appreciated! DS ETA: It might be a day or 2 before I can send up what you wanted to see. Busy weekend, relatives/friends vying for my time, prior commitments...you know the drill.
