I’ll reserve judgement until I see the body cam. A donkey can thrash the shit out of you with its teeth and front hooves. People use them as guard livestock. My grandparents had one that we weren’t allowed to get near to protect their goats, it took a chunk out of my uncles arm and whipped him to the ground before he could blink one day when he didn’t dump the bucket fast enough. He had to have surgery to repair the chunk it took out. ETA: lol, it was just braying and running at them? Yeah that’s a bit early on the trigger.

Israel said officers told her the donkey ran toward them while braying and that they believed they were in danger. She said officers attempted to use a Taser before shooting and killing the animal. One of the towers I used to work at had a few Donkeys. This one in particular, we somehow made buddies with it and everytime we'd go onsite, No matter time or weather, he'd haul azz across that field, right up to us, then sit there and "Bray" or whatever their screeching is called, till we stopped working and talked to it for like 5-6 mins. Then he was fine and would hang with us the whole time we were there. I don't think anyone has ever been attacked by a Donkey, unless they deserved it. |
