I am making a new bed for one of my kids. The foot and head boards are made of up 5" wide oak boards. Should I, Make perfect seams Add a v groove to the sides Add a bead detail to sides ????? |

| There are a whole bunch of unanswered questions for me to give an honest opinion. In truth, I'd really need to see the wood but design has a lot to do with what I would do. Paint or stain, quarter, rift, or flat, overall design of the piece, size of the boards and intended orientation... so much to consider. Sketch it out and do what you think is best. |
