Oil in that quantity is typically sold in metric tons. Or about 7.5 barrels per metric ton. But it depends on the grade of crude, will have a different density. |

Definitely not making it easier to do a graph. Can't find solid data on this or even which bits to look for. Is it kind of a percentage over cost or does it vary year by year? I can database and even stoop to excel anything, but when I don't know how to find a term for what is being asked that hasn't changed in 50 years, I don't know how to ask it when saying "average of this, or this, or this, one of those, if there's two of those add them together but only adjust the first one for inflation, and then give the average" That's what the AI crap can do now.
