I just picked up this Fiskars Brush Axe. I opted it over the always popular machete due to Fiskars legendary reputation for reliability and extreme durability. The blade is twice as thick as a machete's and the long handle allows for big power. I have plenty of other bladed weapons, including full-tang katanas, but there isn't a doubt in my mind that this thing would ever fail.
