Our passing game will not work with this group without a running game that defenses must focus on. If we want to win we have to make defenses sell out to stop the run. He's strong, but his get off, his foot work, and his punch were all bad, and I'm not sure how effectively coaching can fix all of that in a hurry. I think there's a chance he could be serviceable against an average guy, but Bonitto was beating him quickly enough on enough reps that it would have caused major issues on anything but quick passes. Running the offense like that is going to severely limit the team. I don't know what the Broncos are this season. For as much hate as the Patriots got for being schedule merchants, the Broncos weren't far behind them, and they won a lot of close games on low probability devil magic. I don't think that was really a 14 win, AFCCG caliber team. But I do think the fundamentals are/were good, and they were a real playoff team. They can win a lot of games by doing the cliche football stuff. Good defense, conservative ball control offense, and avoid turnovers at all costs. I don't think getting into shootouts or asking a lot of Nix goes well for them. If other teams beat their defense with physicality like the Chiefs did on Monday, they might be cooked. If their defense locks in, they probably win the division again. There's a lot of football left in front of us. All of this could be funny to read in week 8. lol |

Jawahar ran a Texas-based investment company, Swiftarc Capital LLC, and funneled nearly all his client funds in a single investment, Philip Morris Pakistan (PMP) in 2015. Per the release, when the value of PMP went south, Jawahar did not inform his investors and instead led them to believe he invested their money in a specific company and were making a profit. A lot of the runs did go to the left side, and there was a lot of success there. But run blocking isn't really the concern. Pass blocking is. The Chiefs didn't have an effective passing game on Monday night for a variety of reasons. The Broncos D is built specifically for that, the receivers aren't good, Mahomes was rusty, the game plan was to exploit the Broncos run D, etc. The question moving forward is whether or not Benson can be serviceable in pass protection against a league average DE. His film and the game script from Monday doesn't give us a good answer to that question. |

If you're not following this, some rapper got banned by Kraft, then all the associated music acts quit the Ed Sheeran tour in protest or something? I am not familiar with any of these "artists", but it has an NFL owner involved in a controversy with all sides releasing "statements".

I figured it was a loss before the season started, but had hope we could pull of a Ravens type performance like last year. Then I just saw Skywarp2203 picked the Lions to win...
