I see kits for $64.99 and up towards $350.00. What would you guys use for audio mic use for PC? It has the U174 male plug currently. TIA.  |

In my opinion, you'd be money ahead just buying a 3.5mm headset of your choice to use with your PC..... A David Clark is a "LITTLE" overkill for that usage. Any adapter is gonna be some bucks. And, you don't want to go in with the wire cutters and a soldering iron to rewire in a 3.5mm jack.... You could sell the headset and buy something better suited.... |

OP, what is the motivation for using a DC headset with your PC? LARPing stuff? A plain vanilla DC headset is the meat and potatoes solution for flying aircraft. The weight and clamping force is the price one pays for hearing protection. But if you need a headset for a PC, just buy a $20 USB headset from Amazon. It will be super comfortable and probably sound better for both receive and transmit than the David Clark. |
