Well I guess we will find out when Ross goes down there with them at some point. That’s the exact same thing everyone claimed about the Tridacdals at first. ETA let me rephrase this, I tend to trust what Ross has to say. He’s been at this as long as George Knapp and has a lot of sources we know nothing about. And much of what he has said including the ship to huge to be moved have apparently turned out to be true. No one else spoke of this until he broke that news. And it’s not just one but several around the globe. |

I've already gone over the stories of farmers finding bones. Cow bones are kind of easy as they're extra thick, like double thick over humans, but when it gets to deer/antelope you need to know to id and best not touch them. Definitely don't alert archeologists over it especially if you are just hunting on the land and don't own it. SD has some severe "indian burial" rules and shuts down anything happening if a human bone is found. We have 9 indian reservations and dozens of "burial mound" areas dotting the state, several of which have been turned into state parks or "scenic pullouts" on highways if interested in looking at the same flat land you've been driving over for hours and hours and then there's scenic pullouts that don't look any different than what you have been looking at. Absolutely Nothing like Idaho's SL-1 for "Highway stops definitely worth your while". If you think about how long they were here compared to while man, it's kind of hard to find a solid square mile where somebody wasn't buried after dying. The whole Oregon trail left lots of bones like bread crumbs from people not prepared for just how messed up and for how much of the year the weather in Northern plains and Rockies gets. |
