whoot..first request ownage! 
I've been trying to find these dice forever and they just don't exist anymore. they are for poker,liars dice. They are 1" square...all I can find now are the smaller ones. Anyone want to take a stab at making a set (5 dice)? They don't have to have the face card pictures..a simple J,Q,K and ace of spades will work. But the face card pics would be way cool. 
They are labelled 9,10,j,q,k,a

| An .svg of the artwork could be used for an "inlay" & maybe fill with paint (like with roll marks). Weight difference in faces might bias rolls somewhat, though. I may give a design a shot this weekend. This would be great on a resin printer with regard to graphic detail. |

Found some artwork for card faces, did a quick test & looking good so far. Will take a bit, but I think I can have an .stl ready before too long. Will be out of town tomorrow, so probably Sunday before get enough time to do a full die.
Process involves editing the artwork to get what is desired, then import into Inkscape & trace bitmap to vector & save as .svg. The .svg gets imported into Tinkercad & used to do the inset into a die face. The die is just a 25.4mm cube with 2mm radiused edges. Attached File |

That single die will be a 4.25 hour print!
Little worried about the depth of cut of the images into the die though. Without water soluble supports (I don't think you would ever get regular supports out), you are printing over nothing a little too far. First few layers looking good though. I'll check back this afternoon.

Perhaps a better way to build this:
Make each face (with some solid backing) its own piece, along with a cavity in the middle core piece for a weight. Tungsten fishing weight or something. You print each piece with image up, no need to deal with bridging/supports/overhangs. A touch of super glue to adhere them to the core section (after weight is glued in) and you should be GTG. ETA: Large ball bearing for a weight would be perfect. You could make it snap in or otherwise held by the glued on faces. |

I just threw this simple version together, just using A, K, J, Q, 9 & 10 on the faces. It should print on a standard 0.4mm nozzle machine OK. The characters are only incised by about 0.4mm - 0.5mm, so I think they can print without support for the sides. Anyway, just an alternative. I gave the original .STL a shot with a 0.4mm nozzle & 0.12mm layer height last night. The printer was currently loaded with a "natural", uncolored PLA so details were hard to see. I tried coloring sides with a black sharpie, then wiping with a a prep pad to remove excess to see the detail better. The process would probably be better with a paint flood fill & wipe, but detail does show up better. EDIT - I pulled out some acrylic paint & did a quick fill/wipe for better definition, then uploaded a new pic set. 
Not great results (w/ 0.4mm nozzle), but maybe acceptable. |

I've got a CR-10 I'm trying to get going. I've purchased the dual-z axis screw and mount hardware, however I want to couple the rods via belts/pulleys at the top, instead of driving via the 2nd motor. This will ensure they are always clocked together, and as such, should stay square. The problem being, I've never used it in the stock configuration, and now it's torn apart. :/ I'm curious if someone would be willing to print this belt tensioner for me: THINGVERSE LINK With that tensioner, a 752mm belt, and reassembling what I have torn apart, I should be good to go. | I had a tail end of a spool of Solutech white PLA already mounted, so I have a print running with it using the Thingiverse specs (0.20 layer 30% infill). If it runs out prior to the finish, it'll get supplemented with another color Solutech PLA (probably baby blue). Printing with supports everywhere. I'll post a pic when things finish. |

Awesome! Thank you! I'm excited to get it up and running. I'm pretty comfortable with 2d drawing, but creating 3d models is new to me. I'm drawing an adapter to allow me to run current wheels/tires on my mid 80's Kyosho Big Brute RC truck. The original Kyosho tires are rare as hens teeth now, as the rubber has a tendency to deteriorate and turn to goo. Running modern tires would let me toodle around in the yard with it fear-free. I'm super excited about being able to print my own parts and items! |

So i don't need anything printed just two parts meshed together so i can print it. ( I've tried give it a go in tinkercad, meshmixer, fusion360) but am just too stupid to figure it out.

I think the piece you were missing in tinkercad was the simplification of the dial mount.
The easy way to reduce it to just the indicator mounting point, without the magnet mount areas, is to just use a volume to delete the magnet mount areas. You can get closer adjustments by modifying the grid to 0.1mm instead of 1mm (see the "edit grid" button at the lower right on the screen). Attached File with the block "hole" in place, just join the two to delete the covered portion. Attached File With that done, you can rotate & place the now smaller part where you want it. Attached File then join to make one part Attached File This is the kind of mashup that Tinkercad makes pretty easy, as long as the parts do not exceed the import size limitations. |

What you may want to clarify: How many units you are looking for what type of material you are looking for That all said, if you want anything of quantity, you may want to pick up your own printer. Nearly any printer will work if you want flexible or PLA (rigid that is easy to print and form to the face, but CANNOT be boiling water bath sanitized). While Amazon is not prioritizing 3D printer shipping, this one shows delivered by the 18th with Prime and should serve you well enough for the price point.

Anyone interested in making longer than usual hair clipper guards? Ive seen them done and the files put out, and specific materials they ended up using. Would be good here for some of the folks using Wahl trimmers to cut their own hair since the longest available is 1" with a shoddy 2" knockoff available on Amazon. Id definitely pay for them but this thread seems not for profit. Direct me to the right place if this isnt it. I've tried to print a handguard for my scorpion several times and my printer keeps having issues (once I forgot support, several times the support jammed up in the head). Can someone help me out please? It's about 7.5" tall and 3*4 on the base. I used PLA each time with 45% infill and a solid layer every 10 layers but I have no idea what would work best. can anyone help me model a set of pistol grips for a high standard sport king 22? i have a 3d printer, i am just too stupid to model them in cad. i figured one of you guys might have a high standard target pistol to get measurements off the grips. i bought a pistol without grips. i tried thingiverse, and yeggi, but they dont have a file. i hope this is the right thread to ask this. |
