Nice! That Ferrand is supposed to be tasty. And the Seagrass I can confirm is excellent.

Have you ever had Barrel Dovetail?

I haven't tried it yet. I'm not a huge rye fan. It's practically unavailable in retail stores around here so I picked up bottles in any of my bourbon brothers or sisters want some.

Couple new pickups today.  Also grabbed a bottle of Jameson's since it was $5 off for rewards members, and I've never had it.  Figured I needed a bottle of it on my bar.

Couldn't resist the Balcones store pick when I saw it was bottled on my birthday. Bought the Lux Row without knowing much about it besides it is limited. Anyone had any experience with it?

Blood oath is a great pour! Allocated and very hard to get in area. I think it goes for $80ish here if you can get it. Great find!

Picked these up from the PX over Veterans Day. The Heroes JD was picked by the AGM of the distillery so hopefully he picked a good barrel. The regular JD SiBBP was on sale for $50 so I had to get it on.

It's blended specifically to pair with cigars, and is supposed to be phenomenal. If I could get a bottle of that, or Pappy for the same price, I'm getting the Magnus

I got sent to Indiana for work and heres the results of after work hunting. A couple of those are my go to bottles so I bought extras because they were a lot cheaper in Indiana.

Very solid haul there. I still need to pick up rare breed and 1920. I keep passing them up because I can get them just about anywhere here, but that is starting to change.

Where is the rye and the Scotch though?

Rare Breed and 1920 are two of my favorite go to’s. They were both bought for backups to save myself $25 on the pair. I highly recommend picking them both up.

I actually did pick up a couple of bottles of Scotch and a few other liquors in Indiana because it was so cheap! There are some Scotch and Ryes in the family photo:

Got some gift buying done. Been splitting my time between the PX and Navy Exchange and definitely some arbitrage to be had.

PX/NEX

ER $36/$25
JDSBBP $55/$68
WTRB $42/$62
KCSB9 $60/$52

Nice!  I need to get another bottle of Baby Saz.  Mine is disappearing way too quick.  I'm actually glad the distillery has added this to their rotation, because it isn't easy to fins in my AO.

No pictures today. Sorry.  Did a little shopping yesterday and ended up with the following:

Henry McKenna 10 year Single Barrel, BIB
Whistle Pig Farmstock
Blantons (probably should have grabbed two or three bottles)
Makers Mark Cask Strength
Wild Turkey 101

Passed on because I have a good supply:

Buffalo Trace
Eagle Rare
EH Taylor Single Barrel (picked up one last week)
Elijah Craig Barrel proof and 18 year

Curious whether I screwed up or too high:
Kentucky Owl 10 year @ $340 (don't ask which version as I passed when I saw the price)
Blood Oath Trilogy $670 (didn't study, but would guess 4,5 and 6)

Best selection that I had seen all year.  I did go to three places instead of my normal one.
Whistle Pig Boss Hog VII (didn't look at price as it was more than I would pay the last time I looked at the price)

I've had it at the distillery, it's pretty good.  Only like 10% is Texas juice IIRC, the rest is MGP.
